We are exposing a brick wall in the living room. We've already removed the plaster and scrubbed it with a water/white vinegar solution, followed by hot water. We plan to do one more water/vinegar cleaning and another water rinse before sealing. Here's how the brick looks right now. Left is dry, right is wet. When it dries it goes back to looking like the left. We like how it looks on the right and would love to find a sealant to keep it looking like that after it dries.I'm wondering if a "wet look" sealant would keep the brick looking like the right side, or if any sealant would do that. We plan to get a couple different types of sealant and test them out at the bottom where the baseboards will go, but I'd like to get some suggestions that would give us a place to start. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2oZExJb
