First post here, but uncertain where to go to get an opinion. So i work for an outsourcing company and was offered a promotion to a new department with a slight pay rise. Now 6 of my colleagues who also have got the job are in the same situation as me, and after working there for 2 months we have been paid our previous wage twice now.//
Now after the first month we spoke to the managers who advised us to contact our payroll team which in turn we have done and they have responded with "No one notified us of your change in contract you need to speak to your managers" which we in turn did, and was sent back to the payroll team by our managers and was promised a back pay for this 2nd month. fast forward to the 2nd month, and well we're in the same situation but I am unable to get through to the payroll team at the moment. and to top off the being underpaid we have not received our back payment either.
Before i go back to them I wanted some advice on how to tackle this?
