I have a checking account that someone else is on. This person is going to be filing bankruptcy soon and we need to go into the bank together to have her taken off my account.
Everyone I talk to is saying take the money out of the account and take it to a different bank all together. But I don't really want to switch banks unless this is going to effect my credit if I stay.
I have a credit card and a savings account (which she is not on at all) with this bank and I'd like to leave these open. Can I, without it negatively impacting my credit, or the bank going after my other account?
