Hi! I'm a Southeast Asian working in the Gulf, so I have no direct access to Vanguard or Roth. I'd like to start investing in Vanguard ETF and S&P 500 index fund to diversify my retirement plan. I'll start with USD10K (minimum investment) and maybe split it 60/40 (60% ETF, 40% index fund).

I tried Interactive Brokers last year but gave up because the platform / GUI wasn't beginner friendly. Recently I discovered Saxo Bank. I created a trial account which seemed easy to use, with amazingly helpful customer support.

Before I open a proper trading account with Saxo Bank I just want to know if anyone here is also using it for investing? What are your good or bad experience(s) with Saxo Bank? I'm especially interested to know if you have moved to a new country, how did you handle your investments with Saxo Bank in your previous country of residence?

Thanks!
