I've got a dell Inspiron 5548 touchscreen that I got around 18 months ago. It's got a hardware issue that's preventing me from getting on the internet, and a tiny crack in the screen that prevents the touchscreen from working. The crack isn't a big deal as I've just disabled the screen and it functions just like a normal laptop.

Anyhow, it's out of warranty and I called dell to get an estimate on what repairs would be and the guy said from what I described it would be a $150-$200 repair for just the hardware issue and a $230 repair for the screen. I'm personally leaning towards getting the hardware issue repaired and not worrying about the screen, but what would you guys do? The computer retails around $500ish right now, which I have the money for technically, but I'd like to put that towards other stuff if possible.
