So actually, I waited a day or two as well. Originally, we were looking at a 20 day rental for the cheapest car at around $830. Hating the idea of throwing down that much for a car, I put it off. Two days later I looked at the same booking and it was down to $690! I knew if I booked thru Costco Travel it's a bit cheaper but the main thing was that you can add a send driver for free (usually around a $220 addition) but I looked online for "Car renting tips" and read you can get a better deal if you call the rental company. Not only did she initially give us a cheaper price than the website was telling us, I asked if she had any extra discounts up her sleeve and we ended up getting it down to $550!
