We're in the market for a lawn tractor.
Our lawn is less than an acre and we MAY want to do stuff like lawn roll. We'll probably get a trailer to haul mulch around. The lawn itself is fairly flat, with minor hills to go up and down. Turning radius is important since we have some flower beds that would be painful to navigate around.
We are on the verge of buying a John Deere x330. We were upsold to it because the quality seems great. It has a 4 year warranty and maintenance looked easier to swallow. Deere's quality has never been a question, but the price is hard to swallow.
That said some guys from work talked up Cub Cadet XT1 with the 46" deck. It got one of the highest reviews on consumer reports. Every single review site rates it almost perfectly, and it's almost half the price as the x330.
I'm hoping for everyone's opinion on Cub Cadet vs John Deere, but if you have any other suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks all!
