My employers are getting me a laptop and bag, and they're letting me choose the bag, but they're giving me the following parameters:
- Make an economical selection (I believe they were purposely vague on this, but they jokingly said no high-end/luxury brands)
- Dimensions of laptop: 10.2 x 15.02 x 1.19
- Preferably through Amazon Prime
I don't know what their budget is, but if I had to go out on a limb, I would say definitely no more than $100, and honestly probably even capping out more around $50. I can ask for more clarity on the budget, but I'd rather come up with links to send them and see what they say first.... but I also don't want to send them a link for a Filson bag and have them just laugh at me.
Personally, I want a nice leather briefcase that will last me for life, but I doubt I'm going to get that right now through this offer of my employer, so I'm kind of looking for the "next best thing."
And also, as a side note, considering the dimensions of the laptop I want something very slim in that it will mostly only fit my laptop, maybe a notepad, maybe a pen or two, and the wireless mouse which I know will be quite small. I want this setup to be as minimal as possible.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
