I have a Schnauzer (so her fur is more like human hair than dog fur) and want to keep her trimmed at home. I bought a cheap Wahl clipper about two years ago and, despite caring for it exactly as prescribed, it just didn't last more than 1.5 years.
I don't mind spending more for a trimmer if it's going to last. I saw a few possible options when I searched but they were mostly for human hair and, while her fur is more akin to hair, I'd like to see if I can find some ideas from people who've used their trimmer on a dog.
