I have a 3 br house I am making mortgage payments on which is about $1200 a month and utilities usually about $200. Currently live with my SO and I basically pay for everything (no issues with finances).
One of our mutual friends may be moving to our state with their significant other as well. The idea of them moving into our guest bedroom was brought up. Not sure how long they would plan on living with us... If it's just to get used to the state and settled in or a more permanent thing.
Is it required, recommended or even necessary to have them sign a roommate agreement or a contract? I figure I would have them pay $400 with half utilities.
