I've been reading PF and the Financial Independence sub (which either inspires me or some days, makes me feel really bad about where I am financially at my age- like I don't make $85k a year, I don't have a combined household income of $200k).
I make about $43k a year. Participate in 401k with employer match. And like most, have a mortgage, car payment, etc. But live paycheck to paycheck at this time.
Currently have $0 in savings but am so determined to gain control over my finances, save anything I can, and increase my credit score which is dismal due to bad decisions in my early 20s.
Finding & reading this sub daily has taught me so much and it's really priceless advice. It's made me aware of the things I need to change and given me the faith that I can turn this around.
Have you read anything on PF that just stuck? Any particular posts- That made you change your habits?? That changed your life?
