There's some sales going on now for winter gear and I thought it would be a good time to stock up on some stuff for the next season.
My question is, are the Triclimate jackets (usually a two piece, the outer is wind/water proof and the inner is a thin synthetic down jacket that can be worn separately or together).. good enough for snowy weather like the down parkas are (like the gotham, mcmurdo, etc series)?
I'm looking at around -10C and windy (maybe about 20 degrees?)
