My wife and I are shipping out basic in a few months so she got a small part time job at a small car wash. she keep a telling rm in the middle of her shift they make her clock out (if it's slow) and then wait til it's busy to clock back in. she also is played 10.00 and not 10.50 California minimum wage. she asked her boss (and owner) who said he's a small business and that is for big businesses. I called b.s.
Is this really legal what can she do?
