I've got some $ in my roth, as it's recently opened, a large chunk in a taxable account, and 1 year emergency fund. I have some money that I want to use in about 10 years for whatever. Just money I know I won't need, or won't need to access in an emergency.
It isn't that much. But I am paralyzed with fear as to where to put it. It's been sitting for months because I can't decide/am terrified of making the wrong choice.
I'm thinking of VBR and VOO, and simply dividing between the two. That way I'll have total stock and small cap.
My taxable retirement account is mostly divided up between VOO VBR, VBK, VOOV, and Schwab small cap.
Is there a better choice I could be making for my rainy day fund?
