I think mid-cap stock are great. They aren't as risky as small-cap and have more growth potential than large-caps.
My fav mid-cap right now is Cognex (CGNX).
Also, I just thought of Digital Realty Trust (DLR), which technically isn't mid-cap due to being over 10Bn, but it is on the lower end of large-cap.
