Before you start I'm looking at building a fairly off the grid house in Alaska Fairbanks. It would be self sustainable with its own water system and its own power system bases of solar and wood burning power. The community here is no strangers to the "dry cabin" lifestyle as we call it and we've been utilizing that type of housing so much that much of our town is based off of it. I know design and stuff isn't your guys strong suit, money is, so I was hoping you guys could help me figure out good ways to make my money count when it comes to investing and saving for land. A good chunk of land in a good area (this would be an area of the community that is reasonably close to the university and other resources that make dry cabin living much easier and desirable) goes anywhere from $10,000-$100,000 depending on elevation and view. My target price (not looking a accumulating debt) is roughly $50,000 at the highest. So work your magic guys👍🏻
