Worked at the airport.. Fell off an unsecured loading dock. Broke my foot in multiple places. Had pins and a plate installed.
Pins were removed.
Workers comp declines removing plate.
Been on Norco since last Feb due to pain.
Saw the insurance Dr (insurance requeat)
All went well.
They keep declining plate removal and won't pay for pain meds due to plate. I work 8 hrs a day on my feet. It hurts at the end of the day.
Not sure what to Do? I have a plate and 6 screws on the side of my foot which are uncomfortable when I wear shoes.
Edit: payed $750 for custom who inserts to help with no benefit.
