Hi.
My new job starts tomorrow (Monday). I decided to take the job offer at this new place because it was a nice pay increase and stable. The job itself is nothing new - same stuff I've been doing for several years (business/marketing) but a decent pay increase.
And all of a sudden I was just offered a completely different job (statistics/SAS/a bit of programming) by a group I've been helping out for a while with their data management during my spare time. It's a much higher salary increase and the job itself will be fascinating...and I'll be able to pursue a new career in something I'm truly interested in. This was totally unexpected.
What would be the best way to deal with this issue? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
