I was just stopping at the grocery for a pint of ice cream after work.
Had a few things on the grocery list, figure what the heck, bang em out. Including Vitamin D. As I get to the Vitamin aisle I notice that like, every vitamin from one brand is marked at $4.99 for members.
I've always heard Co Q-10 is really good for you, and never bought it due to its high price. Regularly $45 for 80 capsules of 200mg of this brand. Cheapest I can find any brand with a quick googling is $15 for half the number of pills at the same dosage. So I scooped em up!
I asked the cashier to check the price for me because I wasn't sure if it was right. It rang up at $45. And then I entered my member number... And they were also buy 1 get 1 free!! I also got $40 worth of Vitamin D for $5. I'm still afraid I've been bamboozled, but also feel like I'm the bamboozler. Also wonder if I should go in there and buy out the rest of the shelf. I already got all the Co Q-10, but there is Fish Oil and a bunchbof other stuff that's all regularly $20+ per bottle.
I can't decide if the best part was the cashiers face, or seeing "Your Savings $243.96" on my receipt!
So was this an error? Maybe they're discontinuing this brand? Or maybe Co Q-10 is just ridiculously over-priced? Should I sell for a profit or be happy with my year supply?
