We have central air in our house. My boyfriend's brother's room (and our room) stays a little warmer than the rest of the house. We have been fine with putting a fan blowing on us at night but his brother insisted on putting a window unit in his bedroom. He has the unit constantly set to 62°. Will this increase the electricity bill? The bill was way more than last month and we're not sure how to figure out if it's because of the window unit or not. How do we find out how much electricity the unit is using?
