So, like the title says, I'm gonna erect a 10x14 Arrow sheetmetal shed in my back yard. It will house a couple of lawnmowers and bikes and some rakes and such. I have the shed and the floor kit (installed after the shed is built, it makes a framework for a plywood floor but is not a foundation). The instructions say you can erect the shed on grass or dirt or put down a foundation of your own or buy a kit from them. Where the shed will go is on level ground in an area where water does not pool or collect.I'm at a loss as to which way I should go.What will happen if I build it on just the ground? What's the advantage to building it on gravel? If I do go with gravel (which I read is a good idea for allowing rainwater to drain from the shed, hopefully inhibiting rust from the bottom), what's the cheapest and best gravel to get? Please bear in mind I can't really get a dump truck back where I'm building, so gravel would have to come in bags from Home Depot.I'm in South New Jersey, if that matters any, near the border between Atlantic and Cumberland Counties. Thanks for your expertise! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2oiYYlZ
