Hello. I made the Duggar family recipe for homemade detergent and I was so excited about how cheap it was. I shared with a friend and she said she used it for a while until she came across an article that explained how homemade doesn't have the surfactants that can rinse away the the dirt and smells that detergent does. So, I did see a post mention using Blue Dawn. Would this give my homemade stuff the surfactants it needs? Does anyone have a recipe with Dawn? Can I add it to the 5 gallon bucket of Duggar soap I just made?
