I'm trying to install my first toilet. I'm doing it alone and I'm not sure what i'm doing.I bought a Kohler Highline toilet from HD. I got the base on the floor (well, I think I did. I fully expect it to leak and i'm already planning to buy a new wax ring and try again) but the real problem is the tank.The instructions show to put the tank on, add a washer below, and tighten with the nut. But, when I put the tank on, the bolt is not long enough to get a nut around it, much less a washer and a nut. I tried pushing down on the tank, but no go.How does one install this at all?
