I don't know if this post is okay here - but I don't know who else to ask. My grandpa got scammed - he got a message on his computer saying he had a virus, he called a number and somebody sold him a $900 virus protector and downloaded it onto his computer. I told him he got scammed, we got it off of his computer and he called Bank of America. Bank Of America refuses to take the charge off of his credit card, unless he gets a letter from a third party proving he got scammed. Is this normal?
