My girlfriend got approved for a Capital One credit card last night. She has to pay a $99 security fund which she gets back if she closes her account. She has no other credit card or as have ever had one. she is also has a $400 cable bill in collections for a long time now and $3000 for school in collections for 5+ years.. I don't know much about financial stuff but is it a good idea to get this credit card?
