I've had a GoRuck GR1 for 2.5 years. I've used it for camping, coffee shop trips, and airplane travel. It's well made, comfortable, and overbuilt. One day, I was surprised to find the laptop compartment zipper damaged.

I visited the GoRock site and reviewed their guarantee and videos about the SCARS program. They place a lot of emphasis on how zippers are fragile and you can damage them through abuse. So I figured I'd have to pay them to install a new zipper. It's a complicated build, so I didn't want to attempt a fix myself.

I filled out the paperwork, sent them the bag, and was emailed promptly. They let me know that apart from the zipper, other wear and tear on the bag constituted a need for a full replacement. My exact bag wasn't in stock at the moment. So they let me pick from anything in stock or a gift certificate to be redeemed at a future date.

Overall, a great experience. They replaced the bag and I only had to cover shipping in one direction.
