My wife had a wedding to go to in California. Round trip tickets were $350+ and we didn't have enough airline points built up for a round trip ticket. I started analyzing the issue and it wasn't the flight getting there, but it was the flight coming back on a Sunday morning. So, I found a great deal for $75 for a one way ticket, and used our remaining airline points for a red eye trip Saturday night. Saved us a ton!
