I don't know the first thing about grilling, so I'm lost as to what's "good" and easy to make. We are throwing a small celebration for my son next week and will have 8-10 family members (mostly adults) in attendance. A family member has offered to grill and I'm providing the meats. I'd like to make it a bit more upmarket than hot dogs and burgers, though those still may be options.

A market near me is having $2/lb fresh sausage this week, so I may hit them up for some good brats, but would like other things as well. I'd like to keep the meat bill under $50 if possible, as we still have other goodies to pick up.

Thoughts? I have a Sam's membership and was considering going there to buy in bigger packs. edit: thanks for the suggestions so far. Looks like chicken and pork may be the ticket. Sam's has pork loins for $2/lb, chicken drums for $1/lb. :) Steak is looking a bit...pricey.
