I was looking for recommendations on which model to buy for a residential washer/dryer.
Initially, I planned on buying the cheapest top loader with mechanical controls thinking this would be the most cost effective, longest lasting and easiest to repair. After speaking with a speed queen rep he advised that upgrading to either of the models with the digital controls adds and additional 2 years to the warranty. I was also worried about frying the digital control panel and ruining the unit. Again, speed queen rep advised that speed queen is one of the only appliances that you can replace just the digital controls and don't need to worry about frying the appliance and being out thousands of dollars. I'd love to hear from anyone who owns them, Thanks
