I recently bought a pair of Kenton Pacers through the thread posted two weeks ago and want to hear everyone's thoughts.
My boots arrived yesterday and I have a pair of Wolverine 1k similar in style to compare it against.
Initial Impression: The leather has a waxy/plastic feel to it and creased already after the first wear. Definitely feels lower quality than the Wolverine even though I think they are both made of Chromexcel Leather. It also had a weird odor to it which threw me off. Not sure if it will go away after time.
Sole: The mini-lug sole looked good and solid. Definitely a bulkier look to it.
Fit: My Brannock Size is 8E so I went TTS on both the Kenton Pacers and Wolverine 1k, both boots have a similar fit.
To those that copped a pair: What do you guys think of the boots?
