I am a 22 year old college graduate. Last summer I formed an LLC with two buddies thinking we were going to create something great. We made great progress but had a falling out and now it is more or less disbanded. The company never launched a product or earned a dime but we (I) did file the LLC in Delaware.
We filed it roughly a year ago and worked throughout the summer and up until around a month ago. With tax season I totally forgot that I did not pay a tax in 2016 for the registered business.
So the company did not pay 2016 Franchise tax (and I guess a late fee?) and also did not pay the 2017 Franchise tax.
I just want to dissolve this but I know that has a fee as well... what is the best option for me to get in good standing? I hate the position I am in.
