I just hit the approve button on the final payment of my credit card. Debt really sits in the back of your mind, always. Every check I deposited was immediately over shadowed by the amount I owed to Capital One. The epitome of one step forward and two steps back. Even now with the debt gone it is still a step backwards, but at least I get to build with a strong financial foundation now, every dollar I get is mine rubs hands together
My debt was a mere $2600, a lot for me.. I couldn't imagine having to pay off school loans/car loans/mortgages like most of my peers. This is a brag post, I guess, but I'm just happy and wanted to tell someone. Keep on pinching those pennies, it'll get better.
