COMPLETE TRASH. Tried to tax my HSA contributions in box 12b-W. I submitted before I reviewed with HR Block (which begs the question, why not just use HR block, a real company, also free). I'm not a shill, use paper and a calculator for all I care.
Now I must mail in an amended return, wait for that to be accepted in 12 weeks, then mail and amended one to the State afterwards. Meanwhile I'm out $400 I overpaid to the government complements of Trash Karma. AVOID!!! Their customer service doesn't even send you a 'message received' confirmation email. Also, they haven't taken the funds out of my bank to the IRS yet --- when are they going to do that? I gave them my payment details --- it's going to be late because of their software incompetence, and I'll be on the hook legally! Late payment for taxes I don't even owe! Thanks Trash Karma!
