Backstory: I am a sophmore in High school I currently have a minimum wage part time job working about 27 hours a week

My high school has free votech for juniors and seniors at a local technical school. I am looking at a future in computer security and they offer a computer support technology course. I am unsure of weather or not this ends in a certificate or an associates degree.

I am planning on going to a four year university when I am out of school (three years if I do technical school as I have to go for a year afterwards in order to get the certificate/associates degree)

My questions; One: what is the best way for me to go into this and come out debt free or with as little debt as possible

Two: should I go to the technical school and get what they are offering? I will see if I can clear that up tomorrow (April 21st) and live with my parents, or go straight to the four year university? (three hours away)

Also, how long should I wait until I apply for scholorships, or should I start looking into that now?

It currently does not look like my parents will be able to provide financial support

If any other information is needed I will update, just let me know.

Edit one, I'm off to bed, I'll reply to what questions I can tomorrow
