*EDIT* ETF not EFT sorry I am dyslectic

I know this has been discussed on this sub before but the common consensus was if you are with vanguard stay with vanguard if you are with schwab stay with swab.

Well opened up a scott trade account and am transferring my ROTH IRA over from Ameriprise to Scott trade.

Once I do that I am going to liquidate what ever mutual funds I have (the fees are like 0.80% per year) and then invest them into ether schwab or vanguard ETF.

I have always heard amazing things about Vanguard and they kind of invented low cost investing, but schwab fees are just a tiny bit lower.

I am still 20-25 years away from retirement so will the small difference in fees matter? I currently have about 150K in my RIRA

Example SCHX (large cap 750 funds) is the ETF I have my eye on. Expense ratio is 0.03% vs VV 0.08% or VOO 0.05%.

I would also probably invest in some other funds like a Small cap, Mid Cap and International and it looks like Schwab undercut vanguard by about .02% on the expenses .

Besides fees is there anything else to compare?

*EDIT* ETF not EFT
