I’ve googled this a few times but I don’t understand this concept. Say I buy 1000 shares of an ETF, $DGAZ.
I purchase them Monday for $20/share, total value of $20,000.
I watch the price go up and down for 2 weeks, and the price has ended up back at $20/share.
I still have 1000 shares, the value is still $20,000.
Where is the decay?
