I know typically you would use a butane torch to solder copper pipe joints together, but I am making something with copper pipes and spent bullet casings. I need to attach the copper pipe to the casings (brass and steel). I bought the solder and flux and I have a soldering iron with variable temp settings. I just want it to hold. There will be no weight on the bindings other than gravity on the casing.Thoughts?I am going to try it, but I wanted to get some opinions before I tried. This will be my first time attempting to solder anything, but I did the research, understand the concept, and I have used a welder before, though not proficiently. Thanks via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pewkTH
