Idk if this is a concurrent post here in /investing but yeah here we go.
I got a TD Ameritrade account today because it seemed like the best app for trading. I just moved to Florida but I was born in Philadelphia so my first purchase was in Comcast. They own NBC, my favorite network growing up, and they have invested/are investing in my home town.
I would like to ask for advice on long term investing (I'm 25). I don't have much to put aside, but I had my first money market account back when interest rates were above 3%. I have a few hundred dollars per week to invest.
I would like opinion about the best long term investments, but I still want to play the market like the lottery and have losses and windfalls so I would like to hear from those who take risks. Thanks!
