So last spring we dug out some grass/dirt to pour a new sidewalk, and at the time we thought it would be a good idea to just toss the large clumps of sod under the deck.During the summer we ended up with a nest somewhere under there. I peeked under there last year and didn't see a nest in the joists, so I'm assuming they dug one somewhere in the mound of sod pieces. It's kind of impractical for me to find the access hole, unless I pull the boards off and comb through all the pieces of sod. Is there a way to blanket the whole area to kill them without having to find the nest? How about future prevention? I was thinking maybe just buy a tarp and cover the whole area under the deck? (And yes I know bees are great for nature, but not when your 2 year old gets stung 4 times at once.)Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2oeDYez
