I have been wanting a nice camera for quite some time. I currently only take pictures on my phone, but that's getting to be a bigger hassle than convenience. I have the opportunity to travel to Europe next year and would love a nice camera to bring with me. I would also use it for photos with friends, parties, and all the fun things I do (I love to take pictures). Of course I would also take lots of pictures of my cat.
I want something that's more easy and convenient (I don't want to carry around a bunch of lenses- I wouldn't even understand when to use what lens!) and I want to make sure I'm getting a good deal.
I don't really have a budget on this.. I would like to spend less than $500, but what I'm really looking for is good quality for the price. If I can get a refurbished one that's the same quality & $100 cheaper, that's what I want.
I've done research on this but I'm hoping someone will have a personal experience or recommendation that would help me.
