I drive a 2014 Toyota Carolla as my primary vehicle, but I'm an outdoorsy person (I fish a lot) and I'm really into carpentry so my Carolla isn't exactly the greatest vehicle for that. I'm also in a financial position right now where buying a newer truck/SUV is a bit out of the question. I could finance a new truck, but I buy vehicles with cash.
So, long story short, I'm looking for a vehicle that I can buy for under $6000 that is going to last 3-4 years as a recreational vehicle (probably driving less than 6k miles a year). I'm not really concerned with cosmetics because I plan on beating this vehicle up a bit. I want something that's going to run reliably and get me to Home Depot and back when I need it. I'd like to have 4WD, but it isn't exactly necessary.
