Hey guys. A little over a month ago I almost died (ruptured aneurysm) and spent 5 days in the hospital. I'm starting to get the medical bills and they are adding up. I have continued care I have to do with 3 different doctors so I'm guessing the bills will not stop.
Last Monday my boyfriend of over 2y broke up with me and I am having to move out of our apartment. We live in a city where rent is VERY expensive. I work at a job I love but that is really all that's left here for me. The city is cool and there is a lot to do but I worry that I will be struggling and never get ahead on my debt. Previously we were working toward buying a house in a couple years but now I don't really have a "goal" here and would never be able to afford a house in this city.
I have the option to move home (very low cost of living in a pretty decent city with great amenities) to my parents house and a potential line on a job paying what I make now. I wouldn't pay bills or rent and could really pay off my loans and other debt. It's at an okay job but I have friends and family there and there is still a lot to do.
What should my next move be? Next moves for the next 6 months? Year?
