I've come a long, long way in my simple living quest, and I've come to the conclusion that simple living is a lot like gardening. Any gardener knows that their garden is never perfect. You add things, you take things away, you move things around, and next year, you do all that over again.

You will always think you can do it better or cheaper or smarter or smaller. I look at my 520 SF apartment every day and think I would like to get rid of everything and go smaller. 5 years ago, I was crying about how much I had to leave behind when I left my 3/2/1 house with a 23-foot truck packed to the brim. I wanted to keep it all. Now I just want it all gone.

Once I've pared down to barely anything, I'll still be looking to perfect something. It's human nature. We are never satisfied.

So when someone asks a question, they aren't trying to be annnoying, they are just trying to reach that point where they can be giving the answers, not trying to figure it all out. Be kind. We've all been there.
