What is the title of the person who I would talk to if I'm seeking advice on how to be smart with allocating my money in pursuit of my life goals? Long story short - I have a lot of money saved, but am considering leaving my current job and moving to a new city without a job lined up so that I can live and apply for jobs while I'm there. I can live comfortably for a year + without a job, but I would like to seek professional advice on how long I could go unemployed based on my savings. I would also like to get their input on setting limits within my savings, to know when I should move back home if I'm unable to replenish my savings in a certain timeframe. Would this person be a financial planner, financial adviser, or even a therapist? What are some companies I could find these people (Fidelity, Wells Fargo, my own bank)? Asking so that I'm not scheduling a meeting with the wrong person.
