Hi, my car (2004 Grand Prix GT2) has hot cigarette lighter ports. Meaning, even if the car is turned off, the ports remain ON. The problem is, whatever I plug in there, like a GPS or an MP3 adapter, needs to be manually removed every single time or suffer battery drains. Its a PITA.
I am trying to find a way for this to turn off when I turn off the car, like how a car radio would turn off. When I looked at forums I couldnt get conclusive advice. Some said something about changing fuses etc but it wasnt very clear. Where would I get some advice/service without costing an arm and a leg? Thanks for reading.
