I've been meaning to write up a post about this soap pump dispenser for a long time, and I will attest that this is a perfect example of a buy for life product, if not because it is NOW durable (i'll get to that) but because of the support of the manufacturer.
I bought this soap pump dispenser on Amazon in January 2014. In July 2014 it stopped working so I emailed the merchant indicating the pump wasn't working. This was the response.
I will have a new dispenser sent at no charge. I will also send a return label in a separate mailing to retrieve the defective for failure analysis. Thanks you
So I get a new pump part, install it to the dispenser and all is well until February 2015, when it stopped working once again. It says a year warranty on the amazon page but I emailed the vendor again saying the same part gave out. This was the response I got back.

Very kind of him, so I changed it out but ONCE AGAIN, the product gave out in April 2016.
I know what you're thinking at this point. "Why are you writing about something that breaks in BuyItForLife?
The email I got back this time was different.
I will send a new and improved pump at no charge
What I got in the mail was WAY different. It was made of metal and so far it's still working! If anything, I'd recommend for the support I've received from the guy (Thanks Gordon!), but this build is clearly a huge improvement from the plastic pump bit they used to use.
tl;dr - Soap dispenser is good, would recommend.
