Video of my helmet: https://youtu.be/0mKPOPO3K9sFirst and foremost, I am new in spray painting and sorry in advance for my poor English as it is not my first language.Last week, I dry sanded my helmet and just sprayed it in black and yellow. But as soon I stripped the masking tape, the paint comes of with it. Frustrated; I sprayed the paint remover. It was my first time and the result was ugly. I scrapped most off but a lot of patches still on it. Later, I dry sand it until the surface feels smooth on my fingers. I can see it is still patchy in colours but the surface is smooth. I thought I did a good job.The next day, I went out and bought a higher quality plastic primer, yellow and black spray paint. I did some research on google how to make the paint stick and doing it properly. I cleaned the surface with wet cloth and dry it. Then, I sprayed 3 coats of plastic primer and let it dry for 24 hours. I wet sanded the surface slowly with 180 grit sandpaper. I felt it and thought it was pretty smooth. So i wipe it with wet cloth and dry it.Today, I went out and applied the flat black paint. It turned out like the video attached. I really don't know what to do now. It is super patchy and ugly. How do I smooth it out? Thank you. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mt7xtF
