I sold my 2005 Honda Rebel 250 for $1400, asking price was $2,000 (knowing full well that was way too much, and intending only to get about $1500 or around there). The total sale included my $300 Shark Raw helmet, and the bike for $1500 total. I immediately used that money to pay off the remainder of the bike's loan, a total of $1,558.

Now the buyer wants to return the bike, because he says he heard a loud rattling noise coming from the engine on his way home. I just came home from a deployment a few months ago and haven't ridden the bike since then. I informed the buyer of this, told him everything I knew was wrong with the bike, and he bought it as-is. Obviously, if what he says is true, I didn't know about the issue he's claiming it now has. He's been borderline hostile about it via text, but I was 100% honest with him and gave him all the information that I had, and no longer have the money to return to him even if I wanted to.

What can I do?
