I've been living paycheck to paycheck for a few years now, (age 21 basically since I turned 18). I would always put 2 or 3 dollars away every check. I finally broke the cost of my monthly bills and was able to put a whole paycheck plus my tax return into my savings account. I'm just elated bc I've never been able to do this before and thought I'd share my joy with reddit as potential motivation for people.
