I'm new to investing, did a little research and I bought 4 shares of ETE (Energy Transfer Equity) which I purchased at about $19/share. I looked at whats to be expected for 2017 http://ift.tt/2meqBfc They pay out $1.14 dividend expected $1.16 this year.
I'm thinking of throwing a lot more money at this, but would you think its risky considering their past? My gut is telling me to throw $1000.00 into this for 2017.
I've got a couple shares of Facebook too. Just trying to make some smart, calculated moves. Not too aggressive, not too slow either. If I could pull in a couple thousand off of a couple thousand, I'd be happy.
Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?
